Born from playful experimentation with vintage lighting components, APPARATUS, is a collection of lighting fixtures created by designer Gabriel Hendifar and partner Jeremy Anderson. Aged brass, painted glass, and found objects are assembled by hand to create eclectic, utilitarian fixtures. The result is a warm glow that is at once time-worn and thoroughly modern.
The collection includes one-of-a-kind fixtures constructed from salvaged components as well as pieces made entirely from contemporary materials. In addition, APPARATUS offers a bespoke service to meet individual needs and specifications.
Gabriel Hendifar is a fashion and interior designer. He studied costume and scenic design at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he formed his interdisciplinary approach. He has designed for couture label JMary and was most recently part of the Raquel Allegra creative team. His interior work has been photographed for Elle Decor.
