Penny Seume is an award winning British textile designer using imagery from the urban landscape as inspiration for atmosphere, texture and colour. Based on her love of city landscapes, she combines her paintings and collages with contemporary digital print, to create luxurious high quality fabrics, wallpaper and products for interiors.
Living in Bristol, UK, the collections are inspired by New York, London and Bath, and are printed on sumptuous furnishing velvet and textured linen to give a rich and textured atmosphere. The designs reference the original location in a subtle way and capture some of the inherent mood and magic of the city.
In January 2013, the New York collection received a Distinction award from the Society of Designer Craftsmen exhibition shown at the Mall Galleries, Piccadilly, London.
Penny Seume showcases her new Urban Neutral range at the ICFF and offers bespoke and design consultancy services.
