Do the analog and the digital ever interact?  All arguments to the contrary, tey still do in design – and in the marketplace, as the designboom Mart demonstrates year after year.  This collaborative effort between the ICFF and designboom.com, Europe’s foremost e-zine, which chronicles the lightning-fast shifts of design's shapes and forms, astonishes year after year.  The format is classic: the zine's editors team with  team with GLM to cull and assemble a fascinating design bazaar in the Javits Center's "marketplace" for the ICFF's full run.  At the designboom Mart, seeing and believing are one in the same.  where else is it possible to discover what's happening in both the culture and commerce of design.  Participating designers show their works (one to three products, each), network, and sell their design souvenirs to help cover travel expenses.  Stock is limited to 100 pieces, maximum, per stall; prices range from $10-$100.
