ICFF Editors’ Awards are Presented for This Year’s Most Innovative and Unique
Every year, ICFF exhibitors look to be nominated for the Editors Award, the prestigious design award presented by an Editor’s committee made up of the most influential media executives in the interior design marketplace today.
On the opening day of the show, seven editors explore the exhibition floor looking for the most standout designs and concepts in the categories of furniture, seating, flooring, lighting, accessories, materials, wall covering, kitchen & bath, outdoor furniture, and booth design. This is not an easy process as the editors need to look over some 750 exhibitors from all over the world all presenting or introducing new products and materials.
Editors focus on the new and emerging in every category and winners can be sure to experience the benefits of plenty of press coverage both in the key magazines and by leading industry bloggers and newsletters. This is why designers & exhibitors bring their absolute best work to ICFF. The latest trends, designs, even experimental work in modern designs is put to the test in these design awards.
The ICFF Editors Awards Committee includes Arlene Hirst; Dan Rubinstein; Elizabeth Pagliacolo, Azure; Amanda Dameron, Dwell; Annie Block, Interior Design; Gilda Bojardi, Interni; Chantal Hamaide, Intramuros; Paul Makovsky, Metropolis, Christopher Hyland, Hyland Magazine.
The Editors Awards are presented in a ceremony immediately following the close of the second show day, on Sunday evening. Hundreds of exhibitors, attendees and press enjoy a glass of wine or a beverage of their choice to toast the Editors Award winners.
